Wayne Levesque, 66, of Bristol, passed away on Sunday July 31 at UCONN Medical Center.
Wayne was born on Jan. 11, 1950 in Van Buren, Maine, a son of Louise (Soucy) Levesque and the late Edgar Levesque.
He was a tool maker for New England Aircraft and Winchester Electronics.
In addition to his mother of Caribou, ME, Wayne is survived by his wife Susan (Kriscenski) Levesque of Bristol; his daughter and son-in-law Michelle and Keith Chambers of Bristol and their children Jacob, Alyssa and Rebecca; his daughter Jessica Levesque and her boyfriend Justin Dawley of Terryville; his sister and brother-in-law Viola and Carroll Zetterman of Caribou, ME; his brother and sister-in-law Robert and Darlene Levesque of Topsham, ME; his brother Rick Levesque of Freeport, ME; and several special brother and sister in laws, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Throughout his life, Wayne was an avid gun collector and Harley Davidson enthusiast. His most prized possession was his 1983 SLHF Harley and was the happiest when he was riding it. In his younger years, Wayne enjoyed hunting and fishing trips. He often reflected fondly on the time he spent with his family and friends going on motorcycle trips, “shedding”, having fun at picnics, and going on family vacations. Wayne enjoyed spending time with and training the family dogs he had throughout his life; Kemo, Sasha, Bonnie, and Ally.
Calling hours were held on Wednesday, Aug. 3 at O’Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Bristol. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, Aug. 4 at 10 a.m.
